About the company
A holding company built like a product company
We own and operate the platforms, brands and rights that carry creative work from the studio to the world.
Most media companies either own content or own the pipes. We do both, and we build the software in between.
Veritas & Luman Media develops entertainment brands, engineers the platforms that run them, and distributes digital media worldwide across music, film, television, publishing, advertising, OTT and gaming.
The structure is deliberate. A holding company lets each operating brand be excellent at one thing — licensing, booking, mastering, distribution — while sharing the identity layer, the rights data, the analytics and the balance sheet underneath. Nothing gets built four times, and nothing gets rented from a competitor.
Music Label Group, our music and rights operating company, is where that is furthest along: an integrated stack covering the commercial life of a recording and a composition, from the moment a track is finished to the moment a royalty lands.
Structure
One parent, four operating companies, one spine
Open a layer to see what sits in it.
The parent. Capital allocation, corporate strategy, brand development and investment. Sets direction without micromanaging the operating companies.
Each owns a discipline end to end, with its own P&L and its own client relationships.
The software layer — built in-house, sold as products, and used by our own companies first.
One sign-in, one rights database, one reporting spine. A partner who joins through any door gets the benefit of all of it.
What we believe
Own the infrastructure
Renting your operating system from a competitor is a strategy with a ceiling.
Creators keep more
Technology should shorten the distance between the work and the money. Fewer intermediaries, clearer statements, faster payment.
Alignment over billing
Where we take a position, we take the same risk our partners do. It changes what advice we give.
Data beats instinct
Consumption data tells you what to sign, where to push, and when to stop. We instrument everything.
Rights are an asset class
Administered properly, a catalog appreciates. Neglected, it decays. We treat it accordingly.
Independent by design
The independent sector is where the growth is. We built for it first, not as an afterthought tier.
Where technology meets vision
